Step 1 - Register your interest
The first step to finding the right property is to register with Essex Property Centre by calling us on 01702 602 888, register on-line or visit our office, so you can discuss your property requirements with one of our property experts. If you have already seen a property on our website, contact us and we will get back to you straight away

Step 2 - Finding the right property
Once we have a clear understanding of your requirements you will receive a selection of matching properties suiting your specific criteria. Don't forget we can also keep you constantly updated via email and phone with the latest properties once you have registered with us.
Step 3 - Considering a managed property
More and more tenants insist on renting a managed property for complete peace of mind throughout their tenancy period. Renting a managed property has the additional benefits of a dedicated Property Manager to handle every day issues with a 24 hour helping with emergency contact details should any problems arise. Also just as importantly managed properties have the assurance of full compliancy with all safety regulation including Gas and Electrical safety tests.
Step 4 - Successful Viewings
Essex Property Centre are open at times to suit you, making it convenient for viewing after work and at weekends. Our office is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays. Viewing can be arranged outside of these opening times, phone lines are open until 6pm on weekdays.
We recommend booking viewings early in order to secure the right property.
Our expert negotiators will accompany throughout your viewing so we are on hand to answer any questions immediately and advise where necessary.
Step 5 - Making an Offer
Found a suitable property? Now you will be required to complete an application for tenancy where you may state any special conditions of the offer and provide details for your references. At this stage a minimal deposit will be expected to cover an administrator fee. We will then report to the landlord.
Step 6 - Offer Agreed
If your offer is accepted Essex Property Centre will organise the following regardless of whether your property is managed.
- Reference checks from the referees that you have provided
- Arrange signing of the Tenancy Agreement
- Collect your moving in payment (rent + deposit)
- Carry out your check-in and inventory
Step 7 - Completion
Upon a mutually agreed completion date you will collect the keys to your new home! Congratulations!
